RM of Perdue’s story
The Rural Municipality of Perdue No. 346 was incorporated as a rural municipality on December 13, 1909. It lies in west-central Saskatchewan, and its office is in the village of Perdue.
Two villages, Perdue and Kinley, are surrounded by the RM. Several smaller communities and localities lie within its boundaries too: Feudal, Catherwood, Juniata and Keppel, along with Leney, which was dissolved as a village on December 31, 1971.
Highways 14 and 655 cross the municipality, which is also served by both the Canadian National Railway and the Canadian Pacific Railway. Today it is run by an elected council that meets on the second Tuesday of each month.
